"The one that got you hooked."
What was your first video game you really got into? You know the one I'm talking about. That first one that you couldn't put down that started you on your obsession/addiction/fascination with gaming. Everybody has one. What was yours and why?
It doesn't necessarily have to be the first video game you played. Feel free to include what console, your age at the time, etc.

Mine was Soul Blade for the PS1. Not really that amazing of a game, but it was good for the time. I think it got me 'cuz I was about 8 or 9, and the concept of sword fighting was about as cool as the other side of the pillow (ya know, cuz its cool). Playing it against my friends added to the fun factor. All that really hooked me on the gaming experience.

The first game I've ever played was Super Mario Bros. 3 when I was about 3 or 4 years old and if I wasn't hooked then, then Starfox64 was the game that did it for me. I really liked Star Wars as a child so Starfox64 was really cool back then. Because of that game "Fox" was the first word I learned how to spell/read.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe and Pokemon Yellow for the GameBoy Colour. I used to spend hours trying to complete Challenge Mode on SMB and as for Yellow, I'd just keep restarting over and over. I suppose that's why I like platform games and the Pokemon series so much.

I'm not sure about this one, but I'd have to guess on Donkey Kong 64 and/or Pokemon Sapphire. I loved how explorative Donkey Kong 64 was, its sweet level design, characters, and the style of music that Rare uses on their Nintendo 64 games is always impressive, especially when its instruments change depending the area. The multiplayer was a blast too! As for Pokemon Sapphire, that was my first ever Pokemon game, and it was what got me hooked on Pokemon ever since. It was quite addictive in my case, catching so many Pokemon, battling ALL the trainers, etc. The game was a great time killer. The orchestrated style of its music was very impressive for a Game Boy Advance too, and no matter how much i've been made fun of in my time for playing Pokemon, i've stayed a fan for quite a long time.

I could think for hours and not remember my first video game. My first Pokemon game, however, was Sapphire. My aunt gave it to me one day and I got hooked. I had heard of Pokemon prior to it, but I hadn't played any of the games. I remember picking Mudkip as my first Pokemon, and feeling like King of the World when I beat Roxanne in Rustboro. I would play for hours at a time, slowly progressing in the storyline. I finally beat the Elite 4 one day and I recall being like "Yesh! Yesh! Hell Yeah!" when I finally beat Steven (I had a level 80 Swampert and a bunch of level 4 Pokemon. I ended up using struggle to beat his Skarmory, and coming down into the red zone with nothing to heal with.) I loved that game, then one day it broke, and when I finally got it working again my save file was gone.

The first game I really got into was "Find the Nipple", which I played with your mom.
I almost got water temple'd by the part where you had to undo her bra.
