Use this thread to document whatever you find in the void here, or keep a record of void explorations. Videos, save files, IM logs, anything is fine, just put it all here for anyone who's interested. It's all good if you find stuff but if there's no record being kept outside of the skype group, most of us won't know about it and people who are interested can't explore any further.
Whatever discoveries you make, provide details. For example which version, region (JP/US/EU etc), how much progress (no. of badges, before/after E4), whether it's from 430N or another void and the directions taken. Something more helpful than "i found arceus doing naughty things with palkia while biking in random directions."

Here's a completely clean savefile that's been through the HoF, it only has three badges so far though. Saved at 415W. Attachments:

Kettsu's BT coords led to Iron island on X's save file. 4000E 9375N from 430N kettsu's hacked file came from spanish diamond Iron Island after save & reset going east after 200 steps freezes the game used kettsu's save file to go to battle tower void. save+reset, went east for about 5-10 mins. hit walls in MZ, tried to bypass walls. save+reset in MZ, went east 1000. mz void acts like normal void, doesn't allow menu/saving in mz. went north 2500, backtraced 200 to canalave pokemon centre. save+reset 1000 south, 1500 east, ~1070 south. 1500 south, 1000 west. well this is boring. reload state at ~1070 south, contest hall. save+reset 1000 north, 15000 east boring. reload bt void. walled 1 step north. walled 1 step south. let's go west forever. walled after 3 mins. let's try going through these walls.. 1 tile water reflection, 1 tile sand, 1 tile grass. if i reload from menu on the grass tile, it disappears.. and some walls disappear by reloading it seems but not all. this area seems very much like the east side. symmetrical void? from 430n, 2900 east, 2943 south -- jubilife tv event, can't progress further 2900 east, 2900 south, 50 west, 150 south, 50 east to bypass ~2000 south, quit 2400 west, 2100 south, save state 160e, 9375n, ~2100e newmoon island, ~2500e battle park, useless info etc. x found a battle tower at 1331w, 18086s said it disappeared, reloaded state and it stopped disappearing checking x's bt on kettsu's cleaner save file (her previous file had flute+hacks) just tried at a newly created file on spanish Diamond, and a beaten korean file... the first lead me to a Hearthome City, and the other is just a MZ [12:29:24 AM] Yache: the pokesav coordinates for that BT area are: id ~60000 (any Jubi area works) x 4021 y 55745 z 0 just take one step down if needed ------- kett's bt currently hasn't been found on a non-hacked file. might be hax only area like HoO w/working arceus event. vid of x's disappearing bt: youtu.be/SgCR8wuw9cQbeta areas if anyone's bored: pastebin.com/4J93Kjywbtw you can put tweaking stuff here if you want. any DP speedrunners? try using the runtweak to deload barry at oreburgh after 1st gym, TG grunts blocking path near valley windworks and the cut trees on the eterna forest shortcut. runtweak patterns: 1 2 3 4 12434, 34212, 24313, and 13424

Well, I'll re-document the known tweaking patterns since the Wiki is lost forever. Someone add this to the googledocs document later. Simple Layout, for main tweaksFull Layout, for complex tweaks (namely Visible Opposite Tweak and the alternative pattern for diagonal displacement, although it's not mandatory for the latter)Opposite standart tweak (fastbike, HGSS):West to East: 31212 or 13434 East to West: 42121 or 24343 North to South: 12424 or 21313 South to North: 34242 or 43131 If done correctly, never causes freeze, and the Z-axis is displaced correctly. However, it creates a black abyss with no visible graphics whatsoever.Diagonal Displacemant (slowbike; HGSS if starting one step away from the loadline, specifically on a tile labeled as a letter at the full layout):Northeast to Northwest: 12421 or 31213123 Northwest to Northeast: 21312 or 42124212 Southeast to Southwest: 34243 or 13431343 Southwest to Southeast: 43134 or 24342434 Northwest to Southwest: 31213 or 13431343 Southwest to Northwest: 13431 or 31213121 Northeast to Southeast: 42124 or 24342434 Southeast to Northeast: 24342 or 42124212 Never freezes, the Z-axis is displaced correctly, and the abyss has visible graphics with no glitches most of the time. The first pattern option is easier but creates a black unwalkable abyss next to it, which can sometimes block you from accessing the tweaked area, while the second option doesn't. The second option is harder but after you do the "L" if you accidentally go one step more it'll still work (eg. if you accidentally do 31213G3121 instead of 31213121, the visible diagonal abyss will still show up).L-tweak (for HGSS and sometimes Platinum fastbike, I only know 1 place in DP where it works, elsewhere it always freezes):West to East: 42124 or 24342 East to West: 31213 or 13431 North to South: 34243 or 43134 South to North: 12421 or 21312 Supposed to be an opposite visible tweak, but it can have side effects that varies from area to area, and even the two patterns for the same displacement can give different results (usually by one working and the other freezing). The Z-axis is often displaced incorrectly. Other side effects can occur, like an unavoidable freeze after loading the graphics, completely glitched Z-axis, disappearing text, etc.Visible Opposite Tweak (fastbike, HGSS):West to East: 42124H42 or 24342B24 East to West: 31213G31 or 13431A13 North to South: 34243E34 or 43134F43 South to North: 12421C12 or 21312D21 Very hard and risky pattern, because once you do the "L" part, if you make a single mistake your game freezes. But it's the only opposite visible tweak pattern that always works, given it's done correctly. The Z-axis is displaced wrong.Runtweaks:West to East: 13424 or 31242 East to West: 24313 or 42131 North to South: 12434 or 21343 South to North: 34212 or 43121 Z-axis tweak, that is useful to make some NPCs to not appear and can be used for speedrunning sometimes. If the opposite area has an incompatible Z-axis with the area you're tweaking into, it'll become unwalkable and thus useless. In order to get an NPC not to load successfully, you have to go 33 steps to the opposite area you want to tweak into, come back to it and tweak at the first try, and if you fail, repeat the process, to unload the NPCs, unless you failed without entering the area you want to tweak into.

Nope, I've explored that. Runtweaking there only results in an invisible wall.

Know of anywhere else that can be tweaked while with an NPC following, to bring them to an area they shouldn't be?

I have been testing these beta areas lately (I've tried the first five, soon I'll try the others too) and I've found some parts where the instructions weren't right (at least for me). First of all, in the Beta Great Marsh coordinates I had to go 1S, 14E, 20N, 2E, 10N, 2W, 30N, 30W, SR instead of the instructed 1S, 14E, 60N, 30W, SR, because while going 60N, at 25N my character started just spinning to the right and after watching for over a minute I just thought it would probably go on forever. So instead of the 60N, I went around that spot. But this was really weird, because in this video www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_zkgTDeXZc there's no problem going the 60N. First Oreburgh coordinates were right and so were the next two coordinates (Jubilife and the unknown being an Oreburgh beta area). Then, in the Sunyshore coordinates in backtracking part it says 2400N, 5640W, 10W (?), but with or without the extra 10W it didn't lead me to the beta area. Well, then I just calculated the backtracking steps myself and realized that you have to go 2400N, 5550W instead.

I found an area that freezes when you enter it. I already created a thread on it but I wanted to mention it here. START AT 430N 416 steps south 2 steps north 1528 steps west 59000 Steps North 100 steps east(TO AVOID SUNYSHORE ELEVATOR) 1500 steps north(TO AVOID SUNYSHORE ELEVATOR) 100 steps west(TO AVOID SUNYSHORE ELEVATOR) Approx. 6700 steps north FREEZEE!!!!!!!

So I'll continue from where I left off: "Another Oreburgh beta area coordinates" (the sixth beta area in this file) had again that backtracking issue, the real backtracking steps should be 15360N 9330W instead of 15360N 3952W. The seventh coordinates, "More Oreburgh beta area coordinates? Or is it Eterna?" and the eighth coordinates, "Oreburgh again? Or Eterna?", were the same place as the one in the fourth coordinates (in the eighth coordinates you have to go 65S instead of 54S). Then the last one's coordinates were right.
